Meet Our Vets
Our Vetter team members know their stuff! They've seen just about everything, both as veterinarians and as fellow pet owners (our vets have pets, so they can understand your pet's needs AND your concerns).
Check out our vets below. Your pet will love them — and we know you will too!
Arielle Camp, vmd
University of Pennsylvania, vmd
University of Rochester, BS

Dr. Camp always had a special bond with animals, and knew that she wanted to become a veterinarian from a young age. With this in mind, Arielle pursued a degree in biology from the University of Rochester while gaining more experience in the field by volunteering at the local animal shelter. She then went on to attend veterinary school at the University of Pennsylvania. While in vet school, Arielle embraced many opportunities to travel on volunteer service trips to Belize, Thailand, and Haiti during her summer breaks. After graduating, she completed a 1-year small animal rotating internship in New York, followed by a specialty internship in Emergency and Critical Care. She currently practices as an emergency clinician in Philadelphia. Arielle lives in Philadelphia with her husband, Steve, and their super cute pitbull mix (Frankie) and cat (Ruka), who have a love/hate relationship. In her spare time, she enjoys biking, crafting, traveling, and taking Frankie to the dog park.
Dr. Camp was great. She worked with us to deal with a very anxious dog and made accommodations to allow our dog to be as comfortable as possible during his exam. She also helped us make decisions on options to help him deal with his anxiety prior to his next visit. Will certainly be using Vetter again. Much easier than dealing with an office visit.
Ashley Cohen, vmd
University of Pennsylvania, vmd
Pennsylvania State University, BS

Dr. Cohen has known she wanted to be a veterinarian since she was 6 years old. It was at this age Ashley finally got the puppy (Lucy) she had begged her parents for since she was old enough to talk. Ashley saw how rewarding it was to keep Lucy happy and healthy, and Ashley hasn’t looked back since. She first pursued her veterinary aspirations by studying Animal Science at Penn State University (go Blue & White!). After her time in Happy Valley, she returned to her hometown of Philadelphia (go Eagles!) for her veterinary degree at the University of Pennsylvania. Ashley’s love of animals extends into her free time, when she likes to ride horses, cuddle with her cat Lennon and Frenchie Winston, and take care of her rabbit Elvis. She loves living in Baltimore and is thrilled to meet all of the incredible cats and dogs of the city.
This was a really exceptional experience. I had never used Vetter before this, but decided to give it a try. I didn't have to leave my apartment or even make a call. I simply made my appointment online and the Vet came to me. Dr. Cohen and her assistant were great with my cats and I found them to be professional, honest and personable. I will definitely be using Vetter again for my next pet's appointment.
Eric Matkowski, vmd
University of Pennsylvania, vmd
Clemson University, BS

Dr. Matkowski grew up and has lived in Philadelphia for almost his entire life. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree from Clemson University and a Master’s degree from Drexel University. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2004. Dr. Matkowski has worked in general practice his whole career and returns to Philadelphia where he previously worked for nearly a decade. He has interests in all aspects of medicine and surgery in dogs and cats and especially values being able to educate and help pet parents care for their loved ones.
Dr. Matkowski lives in Philadelphia with his (very active!) family. He loves training for triathlon races, especially Ironman events. He has two cats (Kitty and Cat) and a dog (Stanley, a big ole Pittie/American Bulldog mix). Kitty and Cat were adopted from shelters while Stanley was found emaciated in a ditch in Fairmount Park by Dr. Matkowski and a group of friends out for a run in the spring of 2016. After great care and love, Stanley made a wonderful recovery - he quickly fell in love with his new family and became a ridiculously odd pup with many quirks! After caring for several older chihuahuas (Two, Linny Lou, and Marcel) over recent years, he and his family recently took in another lovable dog named Hank who has heartworm disease - Stanley is super-happy to have another big pup to play with now!
Jessica Titlebaum, dvm
Michigan State University, dvm
Wesleyan University, BA

Dr. Titlebaum’s love for animals started when her parents got her a bunny rabbit, which they (unfortunately) let her name Mrs. Funny Bunny. Ever since then, Dr. Titlebaum's love for animals has only grown; she even wrote in her 5th grade yearbook that by the year 2020, she hoped to be a veterinarian. Dr. Titlebaum went to Wesleyan University where she double majored in Neuroscience & Behavior and Biology. It was during this time that she began to volunteer at a local veterinary hospital. The doctors took her under their wing and after seeing how passionate she was about veterinary medicine, they offered her a job as an assistant. Dr. Titlebaum looked forward to her shifts here each week and often stayed on campus for holidays/breaks just to get extra experience. She went on to attend Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine where she earned her veterinary degree and has since returned to Philadelphia, her hometown, after 9 years away. When she’s not working you can usually find Dr. Titlebaum at the beach no matter what the weather!
Laura Pell, vmd
University of Pennsylvania, vmd
Dickinson College, BS

Dr. Pell had talked about becoming a pediatrician since she was in preschool. But she also had a special bond with animals and spent much of her time horseback riding. While earning a degree in biology at Dickinson College, Laura knew she wanted to pursue medicine—and it soon became apparent through internships and shadowing with veterinarians that veterinary medicine was her passion. She attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine and completed a rotating internship at the Veterinary Specialty Center of Delaware after graduation. Laura continues to practice as an emergency veterinarian. Outside of work, Laura has become a runner and road biker over the past several years. She loves food and is very into the Philadelphia foodie scene. Laura has an old, adorable Yorkie and two perfect cats, and has made the city of brotherly love her home for almost 14 years.
Fantastic vet, thank you!
Rebecca Bernstein, vmd
University of Pennsylvania, vmd
Northwestern University, BA

Dr. Bernstein has always loved animals—all animals. As a child, she begged her parents to take in any stray cat, backyard duck, or passing dragonfly she could get her hands on. After her parents declined to turn their home into a wildlife refuge for her assorted animal friends, Rebecca went on to study communications at Northwestern University before pursuing her real passion by attending veterinary school. At the University of Pennsylvania, Rebecca not only earned her VMD but also gained extracurricular experience in critical care nursing and by traveling to Thailand to provide veterinary care to animals in need. After graduating from Penn, Rebecca completed an internship in emergency and critical care medicine and currently practices as an emergency veterinarian. She lives with her husband and their handsome Great Dane in Philadelphia. When she's not working, Rebecca enjoys traveling, trying out new restaurants (she's a vegetarian), and taking nice strolls with her husband and dog along the city's beautiful streets.
I have recommended Doc B less than 24 hours after our appointment to a couple workers. Paws down, the best vet experience our family has ever had. Doctor B & her assistant Ryan are a great team.
Sara Organist, vmd
University of Pennsylvania, vmd
Pennsylvania State University, BS

Dr. Organist believes that pets are treasured members of our families—and keeping them healthy has been her life-long ambition. In fact, she knew she wanted to help animals by becoming a veterinarian since a young age when she rescued her first litter of kittens. Sara has practiced in the veterinary field for the past 14 years, with a background in emergency medicine and a passion for client education and family practice. She truly enjoys caring for animals and educating each client to help them make the most informed decisions about their pets at every life stage. Sara graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine and holds an undergraduate degree in Animal Bioscience from Penn State University. She shares her home in Philadelphia with her husband and four-legged family members: 2 older pups (who still enjoy daily visits to the dog park!) and 3 mischievous kitties.
Dr. Organist did an excellent job with my slightly fearful pup. I'm so glad Vetter was able to see him in a setting that he feels safe in, but her careful approach made a big difference too. Thank you!
Stephen Cole, vmd
University of Pennsylvania, vmd
College of William and Mary, BS

Dr. Cole believes that the best type of medicine is evidence-based, with a laugh on the side. He attended vet school at the University of Pennsylvania, where he was a leader of PennVet student community groups. He is particularly interested in both the prevention and treatment of infectious diseases and has advanced training in infectious disease and diagnostic medicine; he is particularly dedicated to the appropriate use of antibiotics in animal patients to ensure that they can be saved in the future. In 2015, Stephen was named a One Health Scholar by the American Association of Veterinary Medical Colleges for his work promoting the inherent connection of the health of animals, our environment, and people. Stephen is not only a veterinarian but also a comedian! He performs in Philadelphia, where he also lives with his partner (who is also a veterinarian) and their pittie mix Adler.
Tracy Wu Woods, vmd
University of Pennsylvania, vmd
University of Pittsburgh, BS

Dr. Wu Woods inherited her love of animals from her mother: she grew up in a house full of dogs and cats and raised some miniature hamsters, a chicken from the county fair, and even a baby robin. In high school, she shadowed a local vet and loved it! She knew becoming a vet was the career path for her. While attending college at the University of Pittsburgh, she became the vice president of Pre Vet Club, interned at a wildlife rehabilitation center, and worked as a vet assistant and then nurse at a local emergency and referral center. Tracy went on to attend vet school at the University of Pennsylvania, where she also gained experience working as an oncology and operating room nursing assistant and traveled to Thailand to provide vet care to dogs and cats in need. After extending her training with a small animal rotating internship at the Friendship Hospital for Animals in Washington, D.C., Tracy moved back to Philadelphia to work as an emergency veterinarian. She lives with her husband, Daniel, and their two lovable cats, Shemalee and Barbara. During her free time, Tracy loves to travel and experience new things—just as much as she loves curling up on the couch with her cats for a Netflix/Hulu binge session. She also enjoys spending time with her family and friends, being outdoors, painting from time to time, and eating donuts and macarons.
Tracy was a pleasure to work with. She was very friendly to our dog and extremely efficient throughout the checkup process. Would love for her to work with our dog again!
